💡 How It Works & FAQ

Q: How does the detector work?

A: It inspects page requests by hooking into fetch, XHR, player instances (like HLS.js), and scripts to surface hidden M3U8 links loaded dynamically.

Q: What is the cross-origin iframe warning?

A: Bookmarklets only run in the page context you click. If the real player is inside a cross-origin iframe, you must right-click and open that frame in a new tab, then run the detector there.

Q: Why are some streams not detected?

A: If the site uses WebSockets, proprietary DRM, or non-HLS streaming methods, a pure JS bookmarklet might not catch it. In such cases, dedicated browser extensions are required.
